You can test but...: There is no evidence that it is toxic to take natural vitamin e complex with mixed tocopherols in doses of 1000 iu/day or less & there are many potential benefits. The only harmful effects have been found when taking either extremely high doses &/or taking synthetic vitamin e ( labelled dl-alpha tocpherol vs. The natural d-alpha form). Not necessary: Super-ultra-mega-high doses of vitamin e can be toxic. No one can attain this through diet alone (or even by "regular" multivitamin).
