Congrats: You may have had a temporary problem like fluid overload or transient cardiomyopathy while you should do well please guard against a recurring issue. Talk to a doctor.

Depends.: Will need to ask your doc. Some types of failure are completely reversible. Ps the reason we can't answer this question is that "heart failure" is not a diagnosis. It is the common end of multiple pathways. If we knew your diagnosis (for example viral myocarditis or ischemic cardiomyopathy) we could answer this better.
