I had iol implants at age 28. i'm 31 and just had a yag capsulotomy. how likely is it that i will need multiple yags throughout my life? how many?

Highly unlikely: Typically a yag capsulotomy does not need to be repeated because the posterior capsule does not regenerate. However, sometimes there can be opacification of the anterior vitreous face requiring a repeat yag.

One per eye: In most cases, if yag capsulotomy is done following cataract extraction, it will make an opening that will be sufficient for a lifetime.
