Avoid irritants: Symptoms of burning pain and nausea are most consistent with indigestion/GERD. Although certain foods are most likely to blame (acidic like tomatoes, pizza, rich or fatty meats/sauces) other irritants like alcohol, non-steroidal pain medications (like ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin) or other prescription meds can cause such symptoms. Avoid irritants & large meals prior to bed, try antacid (Tums).
