Need eval: Frequent UTI in children is not something to take lightly. Further eval should be done to see if there is any anatomical abnormality in the genitourinary tract. In addition, other condition like constipation and including psychosocial problem ( holding urine too long etc) should be considered as well. Pls discuss with pediatrician.

Recurrent UTI's &: Secondary enuresis may indicate an abnormality in the urinary tract that can be diagnosed by specific radiologic studies. The main issue is to insure that infected urine doesn't "backwash" to the kidneys. Tight silk panties, bubble baths/ soapy water & wiping back to front increase risk of germs overgrowing near the bladder opening. Maybe it's time to request a referral to a pediatric urologist.

Evaluation?: When a little one is potty trained, an occasional accident is not a major concern. But a change like you describe makes me wonder if she has an infection. I would want to check for this. If your daughter hasn't had an ultrasound of her kidneys, ureters and bladder, this would be a reasonable - and non-invasive -next step. A consult with a urologist would also be reasonable.
