Yes: Returning to enjoyable sport activities are important after knee repair. Talk to your surgeon and rehab staff about best choices. I would expect that straight-line running would be less risky than the swerving and cutting of soccer (plus the contact in soccer but not track). Whatever you decide to do, training and rehab will be important.
