Help is abailable: New onset lv dysfunction can be treated. Depending on cause is possibly reversible . If not there a lot of advanced heart failure options like bivicd , lvad etc.

Idiopathic: Check for chagas. Most often no etiology is found. There is hope for recover if transient myocarditis. You must take medications which inculde Coreg (carvedilol) and ace/arb. Coenzyme q10 400 mg per day naturally might help. Start a gentle doctor prescribed exercise program- very gentle. Keep the spirits high. Hopefully whatever caused it will reverse. Good luck.
