Clarify?: I will guess that you mean, "how can i tell whether I am recovering from hepatitis or some other liver trouble?" especially when people are being treated, hopefully with success, for viral hepatitis, they'll ask whether they should feel better with improved liver histology (regeneration). Just this time, it's better to rely on the labs than how one feels to know that rx is helpingyou.

I agree however: I agree w/the previous answer, however we need more information. If you are asking about being a donor or recipient of a living donor liver transplant, the liver can regenerate back to nearly a full size liver in about 6 weeks depending on many factors. In general, with this situation, lab tests can be followed to see how much "liver regeneration" is occurring; you should start feeling stronger.
