Depends, >101.5: It probably depends on what other symptoms you have in addition to the fever. Usually, for instance, when you're hospitalized, we set our parameters for the nurses to contact the doctor if your temperature is greater than 101.5. Ultimately, if you're concerned, the best thing to do is to contact your primary care provider first, if you have one. Otherwise, you can go to er if needed.
