Leaks a little: If fluid leaks back after it is pushed through a valve it is called regurgitation. Small amounts of such backwash are often seen with high resolution echo-cardiograms. It does not necessarily mean anything bad but must be taken in context of why the study was done & what they were looking for. Also, mild is a relative term, how much does the examiner need to see before it is not mild.
