Basically a normal variation. No increased likelihood of future heart problems but check with the cardiologist to be sure ”trace” is really “trace”

Probably nothing if you are otherwise well. It is unfortunate that most echo readers do not add a comment to the report stating that trace, trivial regurgitation may be of no significance. Please seek the guidance of your cardiologist who ordered the study.
