Depends: If the scars are deep they will improve either by excision or injecting fillers (radiesse, juvederm, etc.) to plump them up. "ice pick" scars will be optimally treated by dermal punch excision using a small circular blade that removes the scar entirely and is closed with one or two tiny sutures. Laser and dermabrasion are adequate for scars of minimal depth.
