Depends: If your total hep a ab was high, it means you either were vaccinated for this, or had a previous infection when you were younger which is common and now you are immune. If your igm hep a was checked and positive, then that means you had an acute infection with hepatitis a, but this usually resolves into immunity and you should be protected for life from contracted hepatitis a.
