Back spasms: Sounds like you had a back spasm which can immobilize you due to pain. Drinking more liquids and taking some magnesium can help to relax the muscles. Not sure what to make with the granules on the tongue, it may be normal.

Unrelated: The back spasm will not cause any tongue problems. Unless you bite your tongue, took medication or are very dehydrated.
