Beta blockers: If your symptoms are from menopause, estrogen, ssri's or Clonidine may help. If they are due to hyperthyroidism, beta blockers can help and lower an accelerated heart rate. However, ultimately you need to talk with your endocrinologist about a definitive therapy for your hyperthyroidism such as radioactive iodine or antithyroid drugs.
