Carpal tunnel: Night time numbness is a classic sign of carpal tunnel. This is very common. The initial treatment is to wear a wrist splint when you sleep. This is available at your pharmacy, and prevents excessive wrist flexion while sleeping. If this does not help, let your doctor know.

Carpal Tunnel likely: This would appear to be carpal tunnel syndrome, involving median nerve irritation of the right wrist. A wrist brace worn at night would help. Or it could be ulnar neuropathy of the right elbow, which would be helped by an elbow sleeve at night. Physical therapy would help each condition.
