2-3 weeks: Permethrin cream is great for mite infestations. For scabies: it takes 1 week to really work and may req another week of tx. For demodex, may require 3 weeks and then maintenance if it recurs.

1-2 weeks: Assuming you have successfully treated the scabies. It will likely take 1-2 weeks for the redness to subside. Topical steroids may help speed this process up. Make sure you wash all clothes, towels, sheets, and blankets following Permethrin treatment to make sure any residual mites are eradicated.
