Depends : Depends on the infection. If truly bacterial i find tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) or tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) st works great. But be careful, there is steroid in this medication, and if the infection is herpetic steroids are contraindicated.

Depends: The best antibiotic is the one that eliminates the pathogen responsible for the bacterial conjunctivitis. There are several to choose from. Often clues at the time of examination will allow the clinician to properly choose one, such as a culture. Fluroquinolones are generally the most popularly prescribed.
