My eyes keep crying. can bacterial conjunctivitis develop into allergic conjunctivitis?

Not really: but you may have developed irritation or hypersensitivity to the medications that were used to treat your bacterial infection.

It is not: unusual to see a bacterial conjunctivitis with an allergic conjunctivitis at the same time.Complete your treatment for the bacterial infection.Take an antihistamine along with nasonex, Flonase or nasacort AQ (now available over the counter ) and if need be, you may use zaditor (ketotifen) eye drops ,available OTC for the allergy part once infection has cleared.Don't hesitate to call your doctor,if no better!
