Dr. Liza Kunz answered

Threatened miscarr: The technical name for what happened is a threatened miscarriage. Sometimes we cannot find the source of the bleeding. It is reassuring that your ultrasound is normal. At least 1/2 of the women who have bleeding like yours do not go on to lose the pregnancy. Take it easy the next few days and call your doctor back if you have further bright red bleeding. Good luck!
