Klonopin or Buspar (buspirone): Your , best bet would be low dose klonopin. It is well tolerated, and not as addicting as xanax. Another option would be to take the non-benzo Buspar (buspirone) on a regular basis to ratchet down your anxiety, and this is very well tolerated.
