At least 3: At age 60, according to the advisory committee on immunization practices, three are recommended (more in some high risk cases). A tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis, or whooping cough) for everyone 19 and over, a shingles vaccine for 60 and over, and flu vaccines are recommended in the fall.
