Yes: A child should have completed their basic immunizations by 15 months. Hepatitis a is required in my state & the boster is generally given at 2yo. Then a yearly flu vaccine is appropriate. Others may be needed for international travel (consult your physician) i find vaccines one of the best preventive practices ever developed. I limit my practice to those who vaccinate.

Yes: Immunizations prevent a number of life-threatening illnesses, at very low risk to the individual. Pediatricians in the US are no longer familiar with diptheria, measles, tetanus and pertussis as common diseases. These are popping up sporadically as parents are less vigilant about immunizing their children and can be deadly.
