It's a choice: You must make a conscious choice, just as you would make to forget a former lover. Say, "I will not take revenge on these people. I will let the Universe work this out." Tell someone else. Then get on with your life. Especially, find yourself some higher-quality friends -- perhaps even becoming a better person in the process, something we all can do.
