See your doctor : You need to be evaluated by your doctor. You are describing mood swings which can be due to a mood disorder such as Bipolar Disorder or a personality disorder. Substance abuse can also trigger this. Some medications can also cause this. See your doctor for an evaluation or a referral to a psychiatrist.

See below: Explosive anger out of proportion to the situation is a symptoms of "Intermittent Explosive Disorder" (IED).The cause seems to involve biologic-social and psychological factors along with a genetic component. Treatment is usually CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy) plus medication such as SSRI antidepressants. Substance abuse and other psychiatric conditions can also manifest explosive anger.
