First, R/O HTN!: My first concern would be hypertension. A visit to your general physician, with a physical should come before theories of psychological etiology. If physical exam and lab studies are normal, exploring anxiety is a reasonable move. If you look up physical symptoms of "panic anxiety", you'll be surprised by the many ways in which it presents. Sometimes, simply slow, deep breathing will abolish this.
