Sometimes: Chest pain can have many etiologies some times the muscles and ligaments around chest are strained. This is common. Sometimes injury to ribs such as fracture cause pain with breathing.Inflammation of the linking of lungs, pleuritis is another etiology. The most serious problem would be pulmonary emboli from thrombus in legs or extremties. If problem continues, should consult physician.
