Get checked: The pain could be arising from the muscle/bone of your chest wall, or from the pleura (the membrane that surrounds the lungs). It might also be coming from your diaphragm muscle. If it persists you need to see your healthcare provider. If you feel short of breath, go now to rule out a more serious cause.
