Uterine Calcificatio: These micro calcifications are more than likely the result of mineralized decidua from the placenta and are interesting to radiographers, but harmless. I would nevertheless give your gynecologist a call to make sure he read the report and discuss any follow up he feels is necessary.

Call your doc: If you were my pt would offer u in office hysteroscopy, what they see on yorur ultrasound may not have been able to be seen before delivery and it may be significant or insignificant, in office hysteroscopy can look inside the uterus and all of my pts are awake and can see the inside of their own uterus on the monitor as I do it.

Not a concern: These calcifications may be within small blood vessels just deep to the lining. We see these areas as bright spots on ultrasound and they are not a problem.
