Avoid injury to it: The liver is amazing ability to repair itself. Ideally if there is a liver problem the key is to try to find what is injuring the liver. Alcohol, tylanol, other medications, hepatitis virus even being overweight are some common things.

Liver Health: The best way to get your liver to good health is first to not have any infections of the liver. Second would be to be well nourished and well hydrated. Second is complete avoidance of any product with tylenol or acetaminophen. And, finally absolute abstinence from alcohol.

Healthy living: The liver has several functions, to support nutrition, to clean the blood and to make substances to support bodily function (proteins). It can be damaged by drugs and alcohol. The best thing you can do for your liver is to avoid being overweight, eat healthy, be active, minimal alcohol use, no illicit drug use. Check your liver function tests when you get your physical exam.
