Normal: Because there is an incision at the top of the vagina after a hysterectomy, it can cause a little discharge and bleeding during the healing process. After 6 weeks this incision should be healed so no more discharge.

Please call your gyn: If u are in the immediate post op period your gyn needs to advise u, sometimes u can have a little spotting but u need to make sure u do not have a vaginal cuff bleeder or an infection.
