Matter of time: Presuming your son is a newborn with issues of gas & spitting up.Nutramigen is good for colic(fussiness.Spits.Gas) &reflux but does not smell nor taste good. It will take up to 1 week for baby to accept it and see any difference. You can try enfamil gentlease or similac sensitive. If your baby has colic, it is only a matter of time, 3 months, 6 months or even up to 1 year for it to resolve.Stay calm.

Reflux : Why is your child on soy? If he has reflux then the best formula is either enfamil ar or similac rs(for spit up). Nutramigen tastes terrible and usually is reserved for infants who have milk protein allergy, and those babies usually have bloody diarrhea not just spit up and gas. For the gas you can try mylicon or gripe water or probiotics.
