A member asked:

Can spilling protein in urine cause rash in bilateral legs like red sores that itch a times?

Possible: But not likely...Usually, medical conditions that can lead to rash and sores on the legs can also be the cause of kidney inflammation and protein loss in the urine. Protein losss is usually the result and not the cause. However, if you have a significant amount of protein loss, it can lead to leg swelling and fluid retention increasing cellulitis and redness. Sores can be from pressure.

Related, not cause: Rashes and proteunuria could both be part of the same disease: hsp, iga, sle, drug reaction, more... It is not likely that the proteinuria caused the rash.
