Polycystic ovaries?: Not 100% sure, but look up "pcos". Physiological cysts in the ovary are normal.Each month, the brain signals your ovary to release an egg.After ovulation, estrogen producing cells that used to surround the egg become a progestin producing cyst.Your ovary cannot quite release the egg, and can't produce progesterone:no progesterone, no menses. And without ovulation these cysts build up. Thus "pcos".
