Could be allergy!: Based on your description, i wonder if allergic rhinitis may have a play on this habit. An allergic salute--burying the palm of your hand at the end of your nose and rubbing fiercely--is commonly seen with allergies. Also, do you possibly have a crease horizontally across your nose from bending the tip of your nose up frequently? This is known as an allergic crease. See your ENT physician or fp.
