Pulls to stand: At nine months a child should be pulling to stand or at least making good attempts. If a child has not been given any opportunity to do so it should be encouraged. Babies will also crawl at this age but not if they have not had adequate time on their belly.

Able to stand: An average 9 month old child should be able to stand with out support. Most babies crawl by 9 months of age. How ever crawling is not a developmental ile sone and not all babies crawl. Average 9 month old is able to grab /pick things with their hand.
