PIVD: Prolapse of intervertebral disc--pain and numbness are a concern...If you have not been seen do so. See a neurosurgeon as well. Conservative treatment: homeopathic hypericum can help with the nerve pain. Acupuncture and chinese medicine are fabulous! consider a good chiropractor as well. Sometimes the distraction method can help alleviate pain.
