Not really.: You may have a viral or bacterial infection which may be contagious. Also, coughing will likely irritate your school mates or teacher, and cause them anxiety. Wait until better!

Chest infecton: If you are sick, you should see your doctor, beside some " chest infections" can be contagious, you do not want to spread it around. So, go see your doctor and stay home until you get better.
