Lab is too high.: Since no body knows what it really "normal", and all labs, studies and experts vary -- there is no exact normal blood sugar range. Generally, if you're fasting and the blood is drawn out of your arm, normal would be about 65 to 105. Higher could signify prediabetes. Check with your doctor.

Slight variability: Dr, sneid is right in stating that there is not one agreed upon level for abnormal glucose. There are some agreements, e.g., blood glucose of 40 is low and consistently above 123 is abnormally high. Levels between 100 and 123 are a grey area and many consider this range to be pre-diabetes.
