i have pain on the top of my foot and iv not injured it in anyway, it feels like a bruise except there's no bruising so why does it hurt so bad? thank

Stress fracture?: There are many things that could cause your pain. Stress fracture, a bone spur, tendonitis, a tight shoe etc. Take an otc nsaid, ice the area and decrease your activity level.
