Temporarily: Implanon can interfere with ovulation during and after use, and it can take some time for normal ovulation to resume after removal. Best advice is to wait 3 months after removal to conceive.

No: Long acting reversible forms of contraception like Implanon or depotprovera or Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud will not result in infertility. However, if you fail to conceive after stopping one of these methods then an evaluation is in order....Good luck.
