Ommetaphobia: Ommetaphobia (also known as ommatophobia) is the fear of situations involving eyes. It develops when someone has a traumatic event occur in their life involving eyes (i.e., getting hit in the eye, going blind in an eye, seeing an eye trauma, etc.). It involves social situations, i.e., looking into someone’s eyes, things touching/getting near or into your eyes. If it's severe, there is help.
