Many possibilities: Assuming the diagnosis is correct and there isn't a secondary infection, reasons for reccurrence could include: diabetes, immune system problem, contamination eg from GI tract, vaginal irritation and obesity to name a few. See your gyn specialist and discuss these and other possibilities with him/her.
