Turmeric: Curcurmin, or turmeric, can be effective in treating symptoms in inflammatory bowel diseases. It is thought to work through antiinflammatory mechanisms. Doses of 400mg once or twice a day are worth a try. Turmeric is also good as a natural stool softener.

Depends: It is quite common to develop constipation after crohn's is finally under control. But occasionally this can happen for other reasons such as a bowel stricture. It depends on the location of your crohn's disease. It's best to check with your doctor or nurse to see if this is concerning.
