PCOS is a common : Issue. Low Progesterone is a sign u did not ovulate. It doesn't mean u won't be able to conceive. You may benefit from metformin, if u have family hx of type 2 diabetes or have a high fasting insulin. Metformin can help weight control as well. Especially true if combined with a mood med called buproprion.Watch for insomnia, low energy; pcos increases risk of mood and stress problems. Gd luck.

US doesn't diagnose : Ultrasound is generally not the way pcos is diagnosed except very late and advanced. You certainly could have pcos, particularly if you're overweight and infertile. Check with your gyn.
