Support Hose: Blood moves through your leg veins when you work your calf muscles. Elevating your legs above your heart should help. So will support hose. If you can afford to have an endovenous ablation, that would be the most effective cure. I prefer radio frequency. Go to https://www.Venefitprocedure.Com.

Sclerotherapy: This involves injecting a substance in the vein to cause collapse.Other, more exotic(and much more expensive) treatments are available. Stockings can help-but never cure.Vein stripping would be my last choice.

Surgery v no surgery: No medical reason to treat varicose veins unless they bother you. Conservative management w/support or compression hose & keep feet elevated would be first step. Failing that, consider surgery, e.g. Stripping, injection, laser, etc. See http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/varicose-veins/ds00256 for more info.
