This depends on : Several issues including how sympotomatic you are as well as if you have any neuropathy or peripheral vascular disease that may be contributing to your symptoms as well as your medical status such as obesity, smoking status, diabetes or arthritis involving the major joints of your legs. Medication, a 0 degree lordosis back support, epidural steroid injections and then surgery if indicated.

Spinal stenosis: Depending on the severity, maybe you need to get 1-3 injections to see if the pain subsides... Sometimes the stenosis is so bad, that surgery is the only real solution, and fortunately, success rates are typically in the high80-low90 percent range. Nerve compression hurts terribly, and a good deceompression (laminectomy often) does wonders! good luck and find someone you trust and does this alot!
