Would see pain doc: You may benefit from procedures such as epidural steroid injections that would allow you to get through therapy. If the pain is specifically from muscle spasms, you may consider asking your physician about medications like Baclofen or tizanidine. If you have more nerve like pain, ask your doc about Gabapentin or lyrica (pregabalin). Hope this helps!
