How recent: If it is recent surgery take her to her surgeons to find out the cause of her problem , other wise needs investigation for cause of her pains and see your family doctor first then will refer.

Gerd: This can be gastritis , gerd or secondary to adhesions? Other GI issues also could cause this i recommend seeing your pcp or GI doctor to begin work up and get you proper medications.
