Pretty rare...: But not impossible. Most solid tumors occur at older ages, some leukemias and lymphomas in teens. Overall, pretty rare. Don't worry, see doc if unwell, and for regular checkups. Stay healthy.

Rare enough: You've survived heart surgery evidently with a good result. Teen cancer is uncommon and when it strikes a young woman, it's obvious. A key to overcoming hypochondriasis is to live as richly as you can, especially learning how to be a quality friend and to savor all of life's richness. This itself will make you less focused on your body and ironically, with a better life, less worried about losing.
